I love Tuscany, I watched a tv documentary about that city, i think it’ a a wonderful place, chianti wine and pangratato are the best dishes of the town, where it’ s common calcio fiorendino, my uncle said it’ s like football but medieval acting.
Try one of the hill towns like Certaldo, Montaione, or Castelfiorentino. Monteriggioni or Montalcino are other good choices that are more visited. Pienza is wonderful, but maybe not as isolated as what you’re looking for.
