We are trying to plan a honeymoon and cant decide on a cruise to the Caribbeans or someplace like that for about a week, or just flying somewhere in one spot for a week. Neither of us have been on a cruise and it seems like it would be pretty fun. I think in most cases the cost would cover three meals and drinks except alcohol and from what we’ve seen the prices are very reasonable. Anybody done both or have any advice?

i’m not married, but the cruise sounds more honeymoonish and fun.
if you find a good deal on a flight and on a hotel/condo do the beach but otherwise the cruise
Definitely the cruise. You’ll get to see more places for a better price and it’ll be a nice experience to remember.

Having been on both, I would choose the beach, or something not so organised, for a honeymoon. If you’re on a cruise and don’t like it, you’re pretty well trapped. A less organised holiday could also be more personal and private and leave you more freedom to have fun with each other and explore your surroundings
